Chris Henry suspended 8 games

NFL Commissionerr Roger Goodell has announced the suspension of Cincinatti Bengals WR Chris Henry.  He will be suspended 8 games, without pay. 

Chris Henry was arrested 4 times in a 14 month period.  He has previously been benched twice by coach Marvin Lewis, and suspended for 2 games by the NFL.

Henry's suspension carries with it the following stipulations and conditions:

• He must have no more run-ins with the law.
• He must comply with all required counseling and treatment programs recommended by the Bengals, NFL, or the justice system.
• He must meet weekly with the Bengals' Player Development Director.
• He may participate in training camp and preseason games if he complies with all conditions.
• He may not attend practice during the 2007 regular season.
• He must comply with all requirements as passed down by the court system, including community service.

If Henry fails to comply with these conditions, he may receive a lifetime ban from the NFL.
