The A list - Wide Receivers

The guy that can catch a pass and turn it up the field is one and a million, and the receiver that can extend in the end zone and pull in the uncatchable pass is worth more than the wide receiver that catches 44 passes and only gains 200 yards. In what bizzaro world does this make sense? In the world of fantasy football, this makes perfect sense. As a tribute to the greatest crew of emcees to ever band together, I give you……. The A List (The Wu Tang Edition)

Team RZA – multi faceted, excelling at all aspects of the game.

Steve Smith – not the Giants rookie either, catches, reverses, and punt returns this guy truly touches the ball more than any other receiver in the game.

Hines Ward – this one time college quarterback is without a doubt the best blocking in the NFL, oh yeah, he can also catch the rock. Not a top 15 fantasy receiver, but an awesome teammate.

Team Method Man – not only will their on the field talent keep you interested, but their off the field antics are almost as entertaining…true showmen.

Terrell Owens – armed with “super” agent D. Rosenhaus, T.O. is never more than a press conference away from alienating his team and his quarterback, unless of course Tony Romo can feed him 6-8 passes a game.

Chad Johnson – “Ocho Cinco” sure does light it up on the field, but that’s not all. He seems to be a sure thing to place in the 5th race of the day.

Randy Moss – a new address, a new team, can Randy Get back his love for the big play? Let’s see if the “Patriot” way of doing things cramps Randy’s style.

Team GZA – when the game is over and you look at these guys stats, you will see how much damage they quietly put on the opponent.

Marvin Harrison – like a silent assassin, Peyton’s number 1 guys is always open and will consistently get in the end zone.

Terry Glenn – with all of the fanfare and coverage going towards the other guy (Owens) Glenn simply kills ‘em softly with his hands.

Tory Holt – simply tells his quarterback to throw it out there and “Big Game” will make the play.

Team Ghostface Killah – underdogs that have big time talent and get the job done.

Javon Walker – in Mile High, this Bronco will gallop for yards at a dizzying pace in Coach Shanahan’s wide open offense.

Reggie Wayne – a number 1 on most rosters but on the Colts, Reggie is more of a number 1a.

Larry Fitzgerald – steady and smooth, Larry racks up yards and touchdowns in Arizona.

ODB’s One Man Team – supreme talent, but at times makes you wonder if everything is connected up there.

Roy Williams – after scoring 6 points in a game, stated “we were so close to scoring 40.” Also says the Lions will win 10 games this year.

Raekwon, Inspectah Deck, U-God, Master Killa – don’t sleep, these guys are deadly constantly putting up stats.

T.J. Houshmandzadeh, Marques Colston, Lee Evans, Donald Driver and Mike Furrey will get you fantasy football points in bunches all season long.
